Calcination-based materials design

Calcination: A useful tool to eliminate toxic chemicals in materials design.

Thanks to the thermostability and robustness of titianosilicates, they can be calcined to high temperatures as means of building composite/infused materials. We are exploring this technique to develop novel and robust water filtration templates.
